Criminals beware! From out of the shadows comes...some guy? Captain Cadillac is a kind of a superhero. He doesn't fight. He has no powers. He's not even a great public speaker. Superhero? He's not sure what that word means. Yet, at the beginning of a long night, he dons a homemade costume with a mission to become the symbol of a dying Mid-Michigan town. After over a year of "patrolling" the city, Captain Cadillac begins to weaken under his greatest foe: doubt and addiction. When an EMT worker approaches him with a problem beyond his control, Captain Cadillac embarks on a haunting and painful journey, which will redefine his humanity and threaten his life. Every so often, the cosmos chooses a person to rise and fight the inner demon of doubt. Can Captain Cadillac defeat this dreadful disease or will he succumb to that which knows his every weakness: himself?
